Review summary
Based on recent reviews

Guests consistently praise the Moxy Glasgow Sec's modern and clean design, especially the funky and cool lobby area with games and a lively atmosphere, making it a fun place to relax. The rooms, while not huge, are generally considered adequate and comfortable, some featuring mood lighting in the bathroom and under the bed; however, a few guests have noted noise from adjacent rooms. Its proximity to the OVO Hydro and the train station is a major plus, and Argyle Street's shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance, with Lidl, the metro, and a bus stop also conveniently located about 10 minutes away.

a reasonable stay

central locationfunky decorrelaxed atmospheremissing protectorinferior mattresshurried environment
the location suited my needs perfectly. it was very close to the ovo hydro. the hotel looked funky and cool. the staff created a very relaxed atmosphere, and i found the whole place spotlessly clean.
there was no mattress protector on the bed. the mattress quality seemed inferior when compared to premier inn. breakfast looked low quality and the environment felt hurried. it seemed as if i was being encouraged to leave quickly rather than relax.

i loved the helpful staff! breakfast was tasty and had many options. the bed was so comfy! i enjoyed my stay in the queen room, everything was great!
The ironing situation was a bit weird. I could only iron in a specific room on each floor, not in my room, it was a little inconvenient!
